NakagawaLab(Art and Media Experience Lab) is a media arts research lab working predominantly in new art experience with XR(VR,AR,MR) technologies. Compared to about five years ago when the current VR boom began to become common, you can get a cheap and high quality XR environment such as Oculus Quest or HoloLens easily in recently. Now that anyone can experience and implement XR contents, XR creators are now asked, “How and what to implement with XR?” The theme of this year’s open laboratory is “7 Realities.” Seven realities, an experience with new reality implemented by seven laboratory members would demonstrate the potential of near future art expression and design method.
