SATREPS BHUTAN VR (SVR) Project
This work is a metaverse world replicated in the VRChat of the experimental facility constructed in Thimphu, the capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan, under the SATREPS project “Project for Evaluation and Mitigation of Seismic Risk for Composite Masonry Buildings in Bhutan.” The work archives some of the results of this project using the Metaverse and incorporates experiences that are unique to the Metaverse.
Participants can read papers and watch videos on experiments within the full-scale test specimens in the facility, inspect the scene of dynamic experiments with scaled-down test specimens, and experience the collapse of an unreinforced full-scale test specimen due to a sudden massive earthquake.
