This work is a remote, multi-user simultaneous experience piece by the DSMR project, themed around “Drawing sound in MR space.” It’s experienced through internet-connected MR device, HoloLens2 and haptic devices. Participants can create note objects by connecting their index fingers or their index finger with other participants’ hand avatar index finger. Tapping a note object generates audio-visual effects, and touching another participant’s hand avatar also generates audio-visual effects with warm or cold haptic feedback through the haptic devices. This remote Mixed Reality (MR) experience, with internet connectivity, presents varying real spaces among participants in MR, exploring interpersonal relationships in the XR era by understanding these differences.
